However, it will have to face challenges from the likes of HMSI and Bajaj in its sector.

According to the market numbers, the Hero Motor Corp has sold about 49,340 units of scooters compared to 33,737 units of scooters in the previous month. Hero Maestro performed exceptionally well compared to TVS Wego and contributed for the improvement of company’s sales. However, the fall of Hero Bikes is a cause of concern for the company. After sales declined for Hero, it will have to face the emerging TVS bikes, which are coming up with back to back models with most affordable price. Hero entered in Indian automotive market in year 1984 by the name of Hero Honda. Hero Honda was a joint venture with Japanese company Honda Motor Company Limited.
