Hero entered in Indian automotive market in year 1984 by the name of Hero Honda. Hero Honda was a joint venture with Japanese company Honda Motor Company Limited. Hero Honda was one of the largest producer of two wheelers in India. Hero split with Honda in 2011 and it was renamed as Hero Motocorp. After split from Honda Hero Motocorp has launched a new range of Hero Bikes. Some new products from Hero Motocorp are Hero Ignitor 125 and Hero Maestro 110. Next launch from Hero Motocorp is a mass commuting bike Hero Passion X Pro with sports bikes looks. Hero Passion X Pro is expected to be launched this October as Hero has already started its mass production. Rivals of Hero Passion X Pro are recently launched Honda Dream Yuga and Honda CB Twister.
Old Hero Honda Passion was one of the top selling products from Hero Honda. Now let's wait and watch that Hero Passion X Pro can carry forward old Passion's legacy. Hero Passion X Pro was first showcased in Delhi Auto Expo 2011 but it will hit market in festive month of October which can boost its sales. Hero Passion X Pro features a 110 CC, 4 Stroke air cooled engine which produces peak power of 8.7 PS @ 7500 rpm. Engine of Hero Passion X Pro is mated with a 4 shift gear box with 1 down and 3 up pattern. Instrument panel has Digital – Analog combination meter. Tyres are tubeless both front and rear. Braking is performed by front disc and Rear drum brakes.
Hero has also incorporated a new ignition technology called as APDV ignition. There are significant differences between old version of passion and new Hero Passion X Pro like extended side scoops on tank, alloy wheels which impart a muscular look to bike. Hero Passion X Pro Pictures themselves describe its muscular looks, Hero Passion X Pro is available in 6 vibrant color combinations. Color combinations and graphics of Hero Passion X Pro are also different than its older version. Graphics on Hero Passion X Pro give much more sportier looks than older Hero Honda Passion which can attract masses to buy this bike. Hero Passion X Pro price is not out yet but it is expected to be in range of Rs. 52000 to Rs. 55000 on the road, pricing of Hero Passion X Pro may vary from state to state.
