Finally, the wait for the much awaited vehicle Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 is over as the bike has been launched in India. It was showcased at an event earlier this year but the launch date was delayed due to restraints in production. The all new bike comes with a classic engine, which is displaced at 499cc. the bike is expected to generate 27.2 Bhp of maximum power and 41.3Nm of maximum torque, which is unprecedented. Thunderbird 500 will bear the flagship of all Royal Enfield Bikes, as it is the most favorite and most powerful motorcycle with classic appearance. The demand for this bike is so high that the company had to deal with many problems with production. There was a lot of hype surrounded around this superior motorcycle regarding its specifications and features. The all new Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 price is at Rs. 1.82 lakh, which is reasonable for a bike with 499cc engine.
To discuss more about the bike, it comes with 5 speed manual transmission gearbox, 20 liter fuel tank capacity, LED tail lights and LED headlight with projector. Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 which is launch in August will be available in three different colors such as All Black, Matte Black, and Twilight Black that give an option to the customers to choose according to their style. At this point of time, there is no detailed information regarding the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 features but soon we will be getting complete information about the features of the bike. The company is expecting to sell at least 12,000 units annually to reach its target but the company will have to overcome the production problems. If the company can tackle with this problem, then the company can sell more than 1000 units a month. In fact, 50 percent of sales are done in Maharashtra alone that says all about the craze for the bike. The company must focus on improving its productivity, number of dealers in India to counter the problems regarding delivery of vehicles on time. According to the news, the company has stopped booking of 350cc thunderbird and opened up booking for the all new versions.

The color of engine changed to the stylish black color and the model of backrest is been improved with new design. The all new Thunderbird 500 has got double layered seating that enhances the comforts for the rider.
