Indian two wheeler market is reckoned as one of the biggest two wheeler market in the world after Chinese two wheeler market. There have been many companies that have recently launched some of their new bike variants in the Indian market. Honda India has recently launched Honda Dream Yuga which is the cheapest in the Honda bikes lineup. Honda Dream Yuga is 4 stoke bike with an engine capacity of 109 cc, this vehicle will be directly competing with like of Hero Moto Corp Splendor and Passion Pro. Another Japanese based company Suzuki India also launched their entry level commuter vehicle on Indian roads. Suzuki recently launched Suzuki Hayate, and this vehicle will be giving a good competition to all its competitors who have their variants in 125 cc segment. Apart from being fuel efficient, Suzuki Hayate comes at a very low price too.
Bajaj bikes has been leading the brand wagon for this segment, and is the manufacturer of most popular bikes in India. They have also launched a new variant called Bajaj Discover 4G. Bajaj Discover 100 4G is a successor of Bajaj Discover 100, though there is no much difference between two, the only noticeable difference is that Bajaj Discover 4G is fitted with four speed gear box and Bajaj Discover 100 sported five speed gear box. Bajaj Auto also has discontinued the production of Bajaj Discover 100 as it was not living upto company’s expectations.
The new Bajaj Discover 4G will also be costing less in comparison with its predecessor. The main reason for this major influx is because this segment is growing very rapidly, and all two wheeler companies who operate in India want to make maximum out of this segment by introducing entry level bikes in this segment. Indian buyer now have some of the best of options, and can manipulate their preferences depending upon the offerings from various two wheeler companies. I shared that Honda CB Shine Riding Slow but Steady and Honda Launches the Efficient Commuter.
