A New Entry- KTM 390 Duke spotted in Pune


KTM bikes have already introduced Duke 200 in the country and it has impressed many bikers with its comfort riding experience. Recently, we have heard many rumours regarding the sportier tourer, KTM Duke 390 and many riders are waiting for launch of this bike. According to the expert reports, the bike will hit the Indian roads by late June or early July. Till date, there is no confirmation regarding the KTM 390 Duke price in India, but it will be around INR 2 lakhs. The maker suggests that this is the first bike ever from the Austrian maker to be sold in all 76 markets KTM today. This road going streetbike is to be manufactured at the Bajaj's Chakan facility on the outskirts of Pune, India.

Impressive KTM 390 Duke pictures reveals that the bike will shares a lot with the 200 Duke. It is crafted with brilliance and provides a great look to the bike. This new bike is compact with sharp edges and hs steep creases all over. It comes with a light weight body which is just 139 heavy. Along with a sporty front mudguard, both the wheels look really smart in orange color shades. The maker has added an aggressive headlamp encased in a smart bikini fairing. It is added with a tapered alloy near flat handlebar and the instruments still remain compact. The palm grips of this aggressive looking machine looks better and provides nice grip. You can also find an impressive dog-leg shaped control levers and functional rear view mirrors. The best part of this bike, includes anti-lock brakes, quality suspension components, an efficient engine and a sizzling modern style suit the Indian riders. It will be powered by a newly developed 375cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled mill that is capable of pumping up a 45PS of power and 35NM of torque.

It seems to have plenty of torque for casual acceleration, smooth delivery of power through the range. This bike is mainly aiming to cover the gap between the 200cc and the 600cc segment bikes. The KTM 390 Duke features a button which turns off or on the ABS. So, keep pressing the button until the ABS light on the display starts to blink. To switch on it back, simply switch off the engine and crank it until the ABS is working again and the ABS indicator light stabilises. So, looking at the overall specifications of this bike, the KTM will launch a motorcycle that is significantly faster than the 200 and it will attract a lot of enthusiasts who want a realistic bike.
