KTM Duke 200 available in Two New Colors


KTM bikes are sold world wide and they are known for there off roading and super biking range. Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL) has acquired 47 % stake in KTM and has launched KTM Duke 200 in India. Bajaj Auto currently manufactures two variants of KTM Duke at its Chakan plant that are KTM Duke 125 and KTM Duke 200, KTM Duke 200 is available in India whereas Duke 125 is exported to other countries.


KTM Duke 200


KTM Duke 200 features a 199 CC, 4 valve, 4 – stroke, Liquid cooled, fuel injected engine which delivers maximum power of 25 bhp at 10,000 rpm and maximum torque of 19.2 Nm at 8000 rpm. This 199 CC power mill is mated to a 6 - speed manual gear box with 1 down and 5 up pattern. Engine is very smooth, you will never feel lack of power. It can reach top speed of 138 km / hr easily. Lower end torque of Duke 200 is good, Mid range is also excellent and high end is also good. KTM Duke 200 comes with a revv limiter which limits the speed of bike. KTM Duke produces a unique roar sound which sounds very different from other 4 - strokers in India. This roar is due to small under belly rectangle shaped exhaust. Suspension of Duke 200 is a upside down telescopic fork at front and mono shock alloy swing arm at rear. Seating position is very comfortable and seats are also wide and well cushioned, you will never feel tired on long rides.

Duke 200 is very light weight, kerb weight of Duke 200 is 136 kgs. Instrument panel of KTM Duke 200 is fully digital, which shows all kinds of readings like fuel efficiency, fuel left, speedo meter, trip meter, top speed etc. If we talk about looks of bike, looks of Duke 200 are hugely inspired from its bigger cousins KTM Duke 690 and KTM Duke 990. Aesthetically bike is perfect and will grab attention of many. KTM Duke 200 pictures reveal about its sporty looks. KTM Duke 200 was launched in single color scheme that is orange, now Bajaj has unveiled baby Duke in two more paint schemes that is white and black. KTM Duke 200 price has been increased by Rs. 8,000 – 13,000, KTM Duke 200 now costs around Rs. 1,29000 Ex – Showroom in Delhi, prices may vary from state to state. Earlier it was being offered at introductory price of Rs. 1,17,000 ex – showroom in Delhi. Yamaha has entered in scooter market in India with introduction of Yamaha Ray.
