Kawasaki bikes are known for there powerful engines and aggressive looks. Kawasaki launched Ninja ZX 6R super sport bike in 2006 which featured a 636 cc engine. Kawasaki has plans to relaunch Ninja ZX 6R in 2013, it was first unveiled in September this year and it is expected to go sale next year that is 2013. Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R will feature a new engine which will be different from previous versions, this new version will come some interesting features like two step engine power mode, optional ABS (Anti – Lock Brake System) and 3 mode traction control. Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R features a 636 CC, four cylinder, Liquid Cooled, DOHC (Dual Overhead Camshaft), new engine will come with longer stroke than previous versions, new Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R will have stroke of 45.1 mm, it will also have much better throttle response due to newly designed inlet and outlet ports. It will also have a improved digital fuel injection system.
The Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R reviews say that this 636 CC power plant of Ninja ZX 6R produces maximum power of 130 bhp at 13,500 RPM and produces maximum torque of 70.5 Nm at 11,500 RPM. Another new and impressive feature is Engine modes, engine comes with two selectable modes that is low and high. Low mode reduces power produced by engine by 80 % and high mode allows bike cruise at high speeds. It also has traction control modes which can be selected according to the terrain. Braking is done through twin 310 mm petal discs at front and 220 mm petal at rear with optional ABS. Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R has fuel tank capacity of 17 liters which is an added advantage for tourers and has impressive fuel efficiency of around 18.7 km / l.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R price in india is Rs. 6.18 lakh ($ 11,699) without ABS and 6.71 lakh ($ 12,699) with ABS version. Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R is built upon a light weight aluminum chasis with impressive aerodynamic body structure with openings for proper flow of air. Instrument panel of new ZX 6R includes an analog tachometer and a LCD which displays trip readings, fuel consumed, gearshift indication, clock etc. Kawasaki Ninja ZX 6R pictures have been unveiled and bike looks promising, Ninja ZX 6R is available in three vibrant color combinations that are Pearl Flat Stardust White, Flat Ebony Metallic Spark Black, and Flat Ebony Lime Green.
