Yamaha motors India, in order to promote their recently launched scooter brand has associated with cricket. They are now sponsoring Bro’s Cricket League, a street cricket tournament. This is a smart move from the premium bike brand, indeed, they took the saying seriously that in India only two things sell better, Bollywood movies and Cricket. They are applying the same logic to promote Ray Z. Already associated with Bollywood stars like John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, they now complete the second requirement ‘Cricket’ by associating themselves with the league. Yamaha Ray Z is a premium scooter brand, though the first from the Japanese bike brand and it is now available across all retail outlets of Yamaha bikes throughout the country. The Yamaha Ray Z price is INR 44,000 for the base model.
Yamaha Ray Z features a 104 cc engine and a unique design which is very much different from the generic models selling out at current. The manufacturer has nothing to prove to anyone and when it is on a roll there is nothing stopping them from achieving what they want. So, now they want a major share in scooter segment and hence they, in the process, are doing everything they can do to get there.
The core idea of such a league came out from their marketing team perhaps, because the format is very much centric. Anyone who wants to participate is required to contact the nearest dealership of the brand with a list the team players and all the entries from each zone will then be filtered out to select one team from each zone to play semi-finals. the concept looks good and the registration for the league has been started from 24th August and will continue till the 31st October this year. So anyone interested to playing it out, must hurry to the nearest dealership.
The Yamaha Ray Z pictures were doing rounds on the Internet long before it was officially unveiled and that generated a great amount of interest among the teens and specially girls, who for a long time were waiting for a two wheeler for them from the famous brand. The manufacturer responded well for that and brought the scooter coloured in pink to attract the better half. The initial models however targeted girls too much with all girly colours and a lot of dazzling paints all over but they suddenly realised and brought in some tweaks to give it a more neutral feel. The company sold a handsome amount of scooters post the launch but due to a sudden glitch in handle bars, the customers literally went away and now when they have resolved it, they are trying every bit to get back all o f them once again and Yamaha Ray Recalled To Replace Handlebar of 56,802 Units since it has detected insufficient strength in the handlebar.
