This engine is allied with a 5 speed manual gearbox with one gear down and four gears up shift-pattern. Yamaha Fazer boasts a four-stroke, single-cylinder engine which has the displacement of 153 cc. The air-cooled and SOHC engine scoops out a peak torque out put of 14 Nm at 600 rpm and with an utmost power production of 14 bhp at 7500 rpm. This engine comes with a five speed manual transmission with smooth and cursive gear-shifting.

As far as the mileage of Fazer is concerned, it delivers 36 kmpl on the traffic-packed rods of a town whereas on wide roads of a highway, it gives only 45 kmpl. Yamaha Fazer 250 Price and Features

Yamaha is once again ready for hitting the Indian bike segment with the planning of launching the new Yamaha Fazer 250 in India.
