The new 2013 Honda Dio-A Flamboyant Version


This is the time when plenty of launches have heated up the Indian two wheeler market and the bike manufacturers have no clue how can they hold the attention of the buyers. At such a time, the companies are trying to make extra efforts to lure the bike-enthusiasts anyhow. Thus the result many companies are launching the scooters or scootys in the market and Honda is one of them. Honda Bikes have been reached well into the hearts of the Indian customers and have created a benchmark in the market. Honda Dio is blessed with a 4-stroke, one cylinder, Air-cooled, 109 cc enough powerful engine to bestow a sound ride. The OHC technology enables the engine perform well even in odd conditions. The utmost power output of the engine is 8 bhp @ 7500 rpm and the maximum torque it generates is 8.74 @ 5500 rpm. The mileage of the new Dio is not so impressive and ends up providing only 40-43 km/l on city roads and that is where most of us ride. However, the average might go up to the mark of 60 km/l on highways but we all know that this sort of vehicles are not meant to run on the highways.

There should be something done with the price tag to please the bike-lovers. Honda Dio Pictures a perfect design for those who just do not demand a scooter but a bit more than that. It should be a little flamboyant in terms of style and looks for them and the scooty is just what they want. The top speed of the new Dio is 78 km/l which is by no means enough and unable to compete with its rivals in this section.

The brakes equipped with the Combi Brake System is a welcome addition which is good for those who apply brakes very imprecisely in case they want to slow down hurriedly.
