Yamaha bikes is a brand name which is well known for high performance and advanced technology. Recently, the Japanese two wheeler manufacturer, Yamaha has announced a new version scooter named Yamaha Ray which is a 125 cc gear less scooter. Currently, the scooter is getting huge response for its impressive design and it has acquired around 5000 bookings in just 10 days. The company has announced that the bike is currently available for pre booking with a down payment of Rs. 5000 to 10,000 across the Indian bike market. The elegant scooter is currently getting an overwhelming response from the markets like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and other southern markets like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala. The new Yamaha Ray price in India is expected to be in the range of 45,000 to 50,000. The latest Yamaha Ray pictures are currently available on official websites of Yamaha motors.
The scooter was first revealed during the Auto Expo event held on earlier this year. The scooter is available in exciting candy pink color in combination with black color to get the looks of the women consumers on this bike. With its great looks, the Yamaha Ray is expected to drop down the sales of the successful scooters like the market leader Honda Activa, Mahindra Duro DZ, Hero Maestro, and Suzuki Access etc. The gear less scooter has recently caught testing on the public roads. The scooter is powered with a single cylinder air cooled engine which ensures a displacement of 125 cc. The decent engine will deliver a good performance and acceleration. During the test drive, the Yamaha is expected to deliver a top speed of nearly 80 kmph. Yamaha Ray to be launched on September 14.
The bike comes light weight with a kerb weight of 105 Kg. The company claims that the decent engine will deliver a top power output of 8 Bhp at 8000 RPM and a maximum torque of 7.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. The two wheeler will offer a decent mileage between 40 to 45 kmph on city roads and 50 kmph on highways roads. The 125cc bike will be loaded with a spacious storage space of more than 20 liters. The Yamaha Ray features with a well built suspensions and perfect braking system. The device is available in two variants includes a standard and deluxe variants. The scooter comes with many other good features like tubeless tyres, a sporty half-chain case, a maintenance-free battery, a viscous air filter, and a premium key. Yamaha Ray is the real hit of the automobile industry.
