The company has declared any particular date about the launch of this scooter, but stated that the scooter will be on Indian roads withing coming few months. The company has worked a lot on the design of the scooter. Like Yamaha FZ S, the company doesn't want to do any compromise in choosing the brand ambassador of 2012 Yamaha Ray. So the company has chosen Deepika Padukone as the brand ambassador of 2012 Yamaha Ray. So may be after few months you see her in some advertisements of Yamaha Ray Scooter.
The company has also promised that it will give a great competition to currently popular scooters like Honda Activa. 2012 Yamaha Ray price is expected to be around Rs. 50,000 but can vary according to different cities and road taxes. The company has also revealed that after the launch of this scooter it will also launch some other variants of the same scooter.
