The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 is expected to be launched in May or June in this year and the Royal Enfield Cafe Racer might be launched in the first quarter of 2013 in the Indian automobile market. Both these bikes are fully accorded with sort of innovative and impressive features and specifications that looks like a real world superbike. The company is expected to deserve great sales figures on the basis of its equipments and technologies which are pre-installed in it. The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 price in India is expected to be tagged at around Rs. 1,25,000 and it can be varied at the launch time.
The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 features reveal that the superbike will be mated by the single-cylinder, 4-stroke, Twinspark that comes equipped with 499cc of engine displacement for better riding experience on the tough Indian roads. The company has already been set up its two repair centers in Chennai and Chandigarh that will provide the lowest price range services for its bikes. This bike has a 20 litres of fuel tank capacity and 3.5 litres of fuel reserve capacity, and is capable of providing at least 30 Kmpl of fuel efficiency in rural and urban roads in India. The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 specifications suggest that the superbike is capable of generating 27.2 BHP of a maximum power at 5250 RPM and 41.3 Nm of a maximum torque at 4000 RPM for better performance on the Indian roads. The bike will support both types of electronic and kick start options so that the riders can easily start the bike on a single click.
