Yamaha India, dominant bike manufacturer in Indian bike market had launched the improved versions of its exiting model of Yamaha R15. New Yamaha YZF R15 is also called as version 2.0 of existing Yamaha R15 model in India. Yamaha R15 price in India is Rs 1.07 lakh whereas Bajaj Pulsar price in Indian market is around Rs 65,000. Yamaha has launched various bikes in India with different engine specifications to provide a good bike range in Indian bike market.
Yamaha R15 specifications show that new Yamaha YZF R15 has a 149.8cc engine which delivers a top power of 17 PS at 8,500 rpm and 15 Nm of maximum torque value at 7,500 rpm. It is a 4 stroke, liquid cooled, single cylinder, SOHC and electric fuel injection system provides a better fuel efficiency and less emission. Yamaha has a 12L of fuel tank capacity and provides a fuel efficiency of around 40 kmpl in city. Whereas Bajaj Pulsar 180 specifications come with a 178cc of engine which delivers a top power of 17.02PS at 8500 rpm and 14.22Nm of maximum torque at 8500 rpm. It has a 4-stroke DTS-i, petrol engine which delivers a mileage of 43 km/litre in the city.
Yamaha R15 features include a dual headlamp, each headlight case has small lights for sharp view. Yamaha R15 is fitted with a digital cum analogue dashboard. It is adorned with an analogue tachometer and digital fuel gauge, tripmetre and speedometer. Yamaha R15 comes with a latest suspension system. It has a Telescopic suspension at front and Linked type Monocross at rear which provides a smooth and comfortable ride to both rider and passenger. Bajaj Pulsar 180 features digital fuel gauge as well as digital speedometer. The bike has 35W/35W Halogen headlamp. It is adorned with 37mm front telescopic suspension and triple rated spring, 5-way adjustable with 101mm travel Nitrox shock absorber at the rear. The brakes include 260 mm disc brakes for front and rear has 130 mm drum brakes.
