Bajaj Discover 100T vs Honda CB Twister- Equal on Everything

The economy bike segment has been clogged with options and choosing the best of them all now demands for more thorough inspection through all the options available. This segment has many variations and almost all the major brands is operating here. Two of the most prominent models which are currently topping the list are Bajaj Discover 100T and Honda CB Twister. While the former is a model mounted upon the trusted DTSi engine and backed by a popular franchise name. The latter is the first offering into the segment from a brand which has been long associated with power and sport biking. Both of these models fall in the category of 100 cc and price range of around INR 50,000. The Bajaj Discover 100T price is INR 49,000 and it is the most expensive model in the segment. The Honda CB Twister price on the other hand, ranges from INR 45,159 to 51,905.

On the feature list, both of them stand even. The Bajaj Discover 100T features a 102 cc, 4-stroke, DTSi engine, which is capable of producing 10 BHP of power and a 9.2 Nm of max torque. The Honda CB Twister features a similar 4-stroke engine producing 9 BHP of power and an equal amount of torque. Despite being low on power, this offering from the Japanese bike maker impresses with the performance. The Indian bike brand does not lag behind but it leads the pack with a power packed performance coupled with a best in class mileage for which Bajaj bikes are known. The mileage here lies between 60-65 kmpl and 55-60 kmpl respectively. Honda bikes are popular for their refined engine and exceptional performance but they do command style.

Honda CB Twister

Bajaj Discover 100T pictures portray the indigenous style it carries and the make quality is undoubtedly superb. The front has been borrowed from the higher variants of the model and it looks exactly the same as 125 cc bike. The ride quality has improved and now there is a lot better balancing delivered while braking and turning. Honda CB Twister pictures on the other hand, are rather unique as well. The naked rear frame it carries has clicked well with young riders and the smooth ride quality it offers is good enough to get one fall in love with this two wheeler. The braking in both of these has been provided with a disc in t he front and a drum in rear. The verdict is though tough to conclude but it is well clear. The former has been targeted for common commuting purpose where a good performance is counted above looks and a good look is a bonus. The latter is mainly for those who wants more of style with a good pinch of looks.
